The first Music Row Storytellers event on August 15, 2016 was an evening dedicated to the music industry veteran, Hazel Smith. The celebration benefited Music Health Alliance and was sponsored by CMT. Journalists, interviewers, reporters and many others who report the narratives of Music Row were honored throughout the special night.

The married musical duo, Thompson Square, held their annual event “Rollin’ For A Reason” on July 31. The motorcycle ride benefitted the USO of Nashville as well as a specific service member and their family. However, before the engines rumbled and the bikes were paraded around town, we were able to discuss the fundraiser with Keifer Thompson of Thompson Square.

As we all know from his music, Kenny Chesney loves salt in the air and sand between his toes. Last summer, Chesney went from singing "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" to visiting the first two No Shoes Reefs located in Jacksonville's St. John River, Florida. These reefs were man-made and designed to improve the quality of aquatic life. The funds for the reefs come from Chesney's partnership with Casta Del Mar Sunglasses and The Coastal Conservation Association/Building Conservation Trust.

With Brad Paisley’s home state of West Virginia devastated by floods, he has decided to take action. Paisley is asking for donations to benefit the victims of the floods, with a goal of raising $1 million. Over 20 people have been killed by the floods and numerous homes and businesses have been damaged by the natural disaster. Out of the 55 counties in the state, an astonishing 44 have been declared in a state of emergency.

Robyn Rosenberger’s nephew was celebrating his 2nd birthday and she made him a superhero

cape. The capes became a hobby and Rosenberger started to make them for other people she

knew. One day something sparked and she realized that the capes she made for fun could

become something bigger. Swooping into action, Rosenberger started TinySuperheroes! In the
