Women Rock For The Cure to benefit from second annual live event in support of breast cancer awaren

The Nashville-based non-profit organization, Women Rock For The Cure (WRFTC) has partnered with Black 13 Tattoo Parlor to host its second annual LIVE event on Saturday, October 25th from 12PM to 9PM CST, which will support young women facing breast cancer. The organization encourages Music City to join them as as Black 13 artists and special guests, Dannii Garbiras and Josh Davis, provide a series of custom-designed flash art for customers to choose from, and will tattoo each piece on a first-come, first-served basis. The Eli Young Band is rewarding Camp Schwab Military Base with a free concert for winning the “Battle of the Bases” contest. The winning base had to eat more Pizza Hut wings than the other 29 participating bases in order to win the Eli Young Band concert provided by a partnership between the band, Pizza Hut and the Army Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES). The winner, Camp Schwab Military Base, is in Okinawa, Japan. The band will be flying in for their concert on the base Nov. 1. Reba McEntire to headline lung cancer benefit concert

Reba McEntire will be headlining Dawn Sears & Friends, a benefit concert to fund lung cancer research. The benefit is organized by singer and lung cancer patient Dawn Sears. Sears was diagnosed with lung cancer in February 2013 and has since been active in helping raise funds for research. In addition to McEntire, other performers will include The Time Jumpers and Riders In The Sky. The Time Jumpers includes, among others, Vince Gill and Sears herself.
