NaSHEville's "She's in the City" Raising Awareness for Local Children in Foster Ca

On Thursday, March 7th, NaSHEville's "She's In The City" event will take place at Alan Jackson's Good Time Bar located right on the corner of Broadway and 5th Avenue South. The event will be hosted by the Nashville-based women's clothing and lifestyle brand, NaSHEville, who advocates for foster children, widows, and trafficked women and encourages them to connect with community and encourage and empower those around them. The event will include food from Chef's Market, drinks, and live music by Aubrie Sellers, who will help raise awareness and funds all benefiting Bloom Family Designs and the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. Local artist, Chelsea Bain was completely overwhelmed after learning her fans had donated over 200 lbs of pet food and supplies for the Nashville Humane Society leading up to her concert last week at The Cowan in Nashville. Recently, Bain asked fans to bring a donation to the Nashville Humane Association as admission to her concert and they didn't hesitate to take action. The Nashville Palace held quite the party last Thursday evening as many came together to support the Barbara Leatherwood Fight for the Cure benefit event which raises money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA). This event not only gave ovarian cancer survivors a night to celebrate their victory against cancer, but also raised awareness for the seriousness of this disease. On Saturday, March 2nd, Glen Templeton joined forces with Big & Rich to support the mission of "Saving Kids, and Healing Families" at the Sky High For Kids benefit concert at John Rich's Redneck Riviera bar in downtown Nashville. Founded by Brittany Herbert, Sky High For Kids is an organization comprised of a small staff, board of directors, and a multitude of volunteers that supports hospitals and research centers in hopes of ending childhood cancer once and for all. Since 2007, Sky High has raised and donated over 10,000 million dollars to benefit pediatric cancer research and patients.
