Irlene is the Honorary Chair of Operation Stand Down Tennessee which is the only Veteran Service Center in Tennessee recognized by the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The main focus of this charity is to help honorably discharged veterans.
In 2010, the Mandrell Sisters supported Suba Environmental Education of Kenya, a nonprofit organization which provides ministries, environmental education, orphan care and HIV relief. Irenle attened the event as a celebrity endorsement.
Irlene also hosted her own Celebrity Shoot for Shooting USA which raised thousands of dollars for multiple charities over the years. Some of these charities include Seven Springs Resort, Scouts of America and Wish Upon a Star. The event has had more than 200 shooters sign up who are then matched with a celebrity for two rounds of clays during the two day compeition. All f the funds generated go to the charities of Irlene's choice. Irlene Mandrell's Celebrity Shoot ran for 14 years raising a significant amount of money.
Along with these charities, Irlene has also supported Easter Seals, Special Olympics, American Heart Association and many others. Most recently Irlene has attended events to help the Nashville Humane Association as well as Shooting Out Childhood Cancer.
Irlene is sure to only endorse charties and events if she belives in the cause. You can trust Irlene has tried the product or recognized the charity if she is supporting it. With support for many charity events over the years Irlene has always believed in helping others and will continue to do so as long as she can.
