“To me, the children are what makes the world go round. They are the “Bright Stars” that need to be celebrated in the most natural of ways. I have 3 youngsters myself, and they constitute the center of my every move in life. We, as adults, have a responsibility to keep them safe and teach them how to live their lives in a manner that will be fulfilling.
It saddens me to no end to see children placed in an environment, at absolutely no fault of their own, that affords them little or no opportunity to grow and live their lives to the fullest. If I, as a public figure, can in any way give them some sort of inspiration or at least put a smile of hope on their face, then that would be one small step forward.

Underprivileged kids, sadly, make up a way too large percentage of our society, and I would love to be able to help change that by using the position that I find myself in, as a recognized figure, to at least brighten their day and hopefully, give them a window into what other possibilities there might be for them to search out.
