Country Singers Support Raising Money For St. Jude

Recently, a dozen country music singers made their way to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, to raise money for the children at the Country Music Cares for St. Jude Kids Event. This seminar connects celebrities with radio stations and other media outlets to help raise money. Darius Rucker, Chase Bryant, Brett Young, Love and Theft, Maddie and Tae, Cole Swindell and the Scott Brothers were part of the event.

Country Cares created by Randy Owen in 1989, has raised more than $700 million dollars to date, to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The seminar is held in Memphis for 3 days each January. In that time country music artists and radio stations hear stories about survival and bravery and get more knowledge about the hospital and the latest breakthroughs in medicine. So that they can share their insights on their radio stations and raise money for the children at St. Jude.
