ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic Coming Up in April

On Saturday April 1, 2017, the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic will take place in Las Vegas. Charles Kelley, who is part of the seven-time GRAMMY award-winning trio Lady Antebellum, will be hosting the event. The golf tournament is held for the sixth time this year. The event was created to connect fans, sponsors and donors with industry insiders and artists.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit the ACM Lifting Lives’ Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, which provides help to those in need within the music industry. The fund responds quickly to immediate needs of music related organizations and individuals. Since 2007 the fund has distributed more than $500.000.

ACM Lifting Lives is a part of the Academy of Country Music, trying to improve lives through the power of music. It develops and funds music-related therapy and education programs. Generous donations and the support of artists and fans ensure ACM Lifting Lives to fund everything from disaster relief and helping communities in need, to music education in schools and music camps for those with disabilities, to supporting programs that use music therapy as a means to help our veterans and wounded warriors, while providing grants to help them ease back into life.

ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic will take place during "The Week Vegas Goes Country," which takes place from March 30 - April 2, 2017, including the 5th Annual ACM Party for a Cause.
