Country Stars Gathered in Las Vegas for a Good Cause

The 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards was not the only thing going on this past week in Las Vegas. During "The Week Vegas goes Country" ACM also presented a lot of charity events, the ACM Party for a Cause and the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic. The Party for a Cause took place Thursday, March 30 through Sunday, April 2, the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic on Saturday, April 1.

Country stars like Old Dominion, Jerrod Niemann, Jackie Lee and Dee Jay Silver performed at the Flamingo Las Vegas for the ACM Pool Party for a Cause, which was live all day. The event, which was presented by MillerCoors, also surprised with a duet by Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann.

Saturday evening Lady Antebellum, Kip Moore, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Paslay, Brett Young, Ryan Hurd, Drew Baldridge, and HISH performed at ACM Party for a Cause: The Joint, which was hosted by Bobby Bones with Crook and Chase. Other events for the 5th Party of a Cause on Saturday included the ACM Party for a Cause: House of Blues with Lauren Alaina, Billy Currington and Dan + Shay, and the ACM Party for a Cause: WME Bash at the Beach with Florida Georgia Line, Cole Sindell, Dustin Lynch and Chris Kane.

Another event on Saturday was the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic, hosted by Charles Kelley.

The musicians Colt Ford, Tracy Lawrence, Scotty McCreery, Eric Pasley and Cole Swindell participated in the tournament. The event was held for the sixth time this year to raise money for the ACM Lifting Lives' Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, which provides help to those in need within the music industry.

Both the Party for a Cause and the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic help raise money and awareness for the ACM Lifting Lives.
