Carrie Underwood Supports Military Families

Just when you thought Carrie Underwood couldn’t get any greater, she announces she is partnering with Carnival Cruise Line and Operation Homefront to support military families through the, “Honor. Family. Fun.” program. This November, Underwood will give a special concert for military families aboard the new cruise ship, Carnival Vista. In addition to performing on the Carnival Vista next November, Underwood will be part of the Carnival Live Concert series in 2017.

During her Storyteller tour, select military families in 10 cities will visit with Underwood during personal meet and greets. Carnival.com will film their meetings and feature them online. There will be dog tags for sale, and proceeds go to Operation Homefront. They will be available on Carnival Cruise ships and Underwood’s merchandise table on her Storyteller tour.

The launch of, “Honor. Family. Fun.” was attended by Andrew and Bryanne Friedlander, a Georgia couple who are the 500th family to receive a house from Operation Homefront. Andrew served six years in the U.S. Navy. Carrie Underwood and many others love to see these families’ faces when they are appreciated for their sacrifice for our beloved country.
