Presley Tennant Kicks off Fall "Riffs & Rescues" Initiative with Valley Animal Center Livestream October 5 @ 6pm PST

Heart of gold with an abundance of talent, Presley Tennant launched her “Riffs & Rescues” virtual charity tour benefiting animal organizations over the summer, and now, she’s back to it. The former The Voice contestant teams up with Valley Animal Center to kick off the fall on October 5 at 6pm PST. The livestream can be viewed on Presley Tennant’s Facebook and Instagram, as well as Valley Animal Center’s Facebook page. "Animals have always been so special to me," says the "Break My Heart" singer, of whom People Magazine says is, "quickly proving that she is a wild card in the country music industry" (Tricia Despres). "I am so excited to talk about Valley Animal Center and everything that they do for our furry friends. They're giving these animals a voice and I'm thrilled to stand with them." A pet-owner herself, Presley Tennant is no stranger to all of the time, love, and care that goes into raising an animal. Paying tribute to the shelters that do so at little to no cost, it is her hope that fans will be quick to rally in support of their local animal shelters as she highlights many throughout her “Riffs & Rescues” tour. Continuing her initiative with Valley Animal Center, Tennant will not only perform her newest tracks, including her Girl POV of “Something in the Orange,” but will draw attention to the organization’s goals and needs, and include a virtual tip jar with 100% of proceeds going to the shelter. Valley Animal Center serves all six-counties of the Fresno, CA region, bringing in rescues from animal control agencies that can no longer be housed, no matter their condition. With their accessibility, they have become not only a hot spot for adoption, but care as well. Set on uniting these pets with equally as loving people, and contributing to this relationship long past the adoption process, their plethora of resources are sure to help new and experienced owners throughout their pet ownership journey. Determined to make her own way in the industry, she teamed up with esteemed producers, including Kent Wells and Buddy Hyatt, to create her own version of California-Country, melding together western lifestyle, traditional roots and a modern energy. A born entertainer, Presley has not only performed at multiple Staples Center halftime shows in front of 15,000, but has shared the stage with musical heroes like Tim Mcgraw, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Brett Young and more.

About Valley Animal Center

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region we serve. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people, but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
