Disco Party For a Cause

On June 4, the Wildhorse Saloon will be the location for a funky disco party. Brad Paisley is going to play a Disco Party in Nashville to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer disease. The party was put together by the nationally syndicated radio program The Blair Garner Show and Paisley's wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The actress wants to raise more awareness after the death of her mother, Linda Payne Williams, in November 2016 after a long struggle with dementia. Darius Rucker announced the date for his eighth annual "Darius and Friends" benefit concert, which will take place on Monday, June 5, to kick off the CMA Fest in Nashville, taking place from June 8 to 11. For the first time this year the benefit concert will be held in the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. "Darius and Friends" benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The singer and songwriter is worldwide recognized for his charity work. He committed to raising money for St. Jude since he visited the campus in 2008. 10th Anniversary of Musicians on Call in Nashville

For the tenth anniversary of Musicians on Call in Nashville, Keith Urban performed at the Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. The non-profit organization brings live and recorded music to patients in hospitals all across the country. At the MOC's Bedside Performance Program Urban performed his biggest hits, including “Blue Ain’t Your Color,” ”Wasted Time,” “You Look Good in My Shirt” and “Somebody Like You” and put a smile on the children's faces. Country Stars Gathered in Las Vegas for a Good Cause

The 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards was not the only thing going on this past week in Las Vegas. During "The Week Vegas goes Country" ACM also presented a lot of charity events, the ACM Party for a Cause and the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic. The Party for a Cause took place Thursday, March 30 through Sunday, April 2, the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic on Saturday, April 1.
