Pop Philanthropy: Kel Adore Kicks Off "Feed The Soul" Tour with No Kid Hungry
LA-based pop artist and model, Kel Adore doesn’t aim to merely entertain, but to feed the soul. Driven by empathy and the desire to connect with others, Kel Adore has announced her virtual concert series, Feed The Soul – a fundraising campaign benefitting hunger relief causes nationwide.
“Both music and food have a special way of connecting us and bringing us together as humans,” says Adore. “Every single person deserves to have food in their belly and love in their hearts. I'm excited to kick off the 'Feed the Soul' campaign which aims to provide both.”
In conjunction with the release of her new single “Still A Child,” it seemed only appropriate to kick off the Feed The Soul campaign with No Kid Hungry – a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America. No Kid Hungry supports programs like school breakfast, summer meals, food banks and community groups feeding kids, and pushes for legislation to strengthen nutrition programs like SNAP to help feed more kids. The fundraising livestream concert will take place on August 23 at 6pm Pacific Time on both Instagram and Facebook.
“No Kid Hungry comes prepared with actual solutions ready to solve the crisis of childhood hunger in America. Now we just need your help to support the cause.”Kel continues, “No child should have to worry about their next meal, and No Kid Hungry is helping communities feed children and teach people like you and me what we can do to help. I'm honored to partner with them to help end childhood hunger.”
Living in Los Angeles, Kel Adore has seen the reality of the hunger crisis firsthand, and strives to give back in any way she can, highlighting a specific hunger relief initiative each month. Each livestream will feature a virtual tip jar where viewers can donate directly to the featured cause.
